Commissioner Adv. Dzikamai Madzivire is a meticulous legal practitioner, notary public, and conveyancer based in Harare. The Managing Partner at the Michael, Lloyd and Madzivire Law Chambers.

His legal foundation was built over 21 years of service in the Zimbabwe Republic Police, from 2003 to 2024. He served as Chief Clerk and Legal Officer at PGHQ Crime, Officer-in-Charge (ZRP), Member-In-Charge (ZRP) and as a Public Prosecutor in Mbare and Chitungwiza Magistrates Courts. He also led Victim Friendly Units focused on crime prevention, community relations, and support for vulnerable witnesses. This experience gives him deep, practical insight into criminal law, investigations, and human rights matters.

Since 2024, Mr. Madzivire has been in private practice with Makururu and Partners Legal Practitioners, where he handles litigation, conveyancing, contracts, and human rights cases. He combines legal expertise with strong negotiation and communication skills to deliver outcomes clients can rely on.

Commissioner, Advocate Dzikamai Madzivire’s qualifications reflect both law and people centered service: he holds an LL.M from the University of Zimbabwe 2024; and an LL.B (Hons), University of Zimbabwe 2021; a M.Sc Development Studies from the Women’s University in Africa 2013; a B.Sc Counselling from the Zimbabwe Open University 2008. Since 2016, he has also lectured part-time with Zimbabwe Open University in Development Studies and Counselling.

He is a member of the Law Society of Zimbabwe and the Zimbabwe Association of Family Therapists and of the Professional Counsellors.
